Work I’m proud of
I’ve spent the last fifteen years in UX messing around with everything from social ads to massive enterprise tools. As a Principal UX Designer at Amazon for eight years, I worked on a 0-to-1 hardware play device, global HR metrics, and the core app drivers open every single day. Before Amazon, I wore many hats at The Nerdery in a mix of PM, strategist, and UX roles. Standing up Whole Foods’ custom ERP and modernizing DTN.com for farmers everywhere were two of my favorite wins.

Amazon Glow: make believe, for real
A first-of-its-kind “phygital” device that turned video calls into shared play. I owned all core platform UI—onboarding, calling and activity browsing—across the child’s device and the caregiver’s app, and authored the dual-plane interaction model and design tenets behind it.

Tangrams: the game that greenlit the Glow
The Glow’s hero activity, and my own concept end to end—Game Design Document, difficulty curve, and the “Guided Play” affordances that let a remote adult hint without taking over. I 3D-printed the first piece sets, hand-labeled 400+ pieces for the computer vision, and ran 41 playtests.

Clarity: dense reporting under pressure
A full UX overhaul of Amazon’s internal workforce reporting platform—a simplified core for everyday managers, an advanced control panel for power users, and Clarity Assist, an AI chatbot for querying team data in plain language. 20 interviews, CAB validation, testing with 40 employees.

Amazon driver app: trust the route
Rebuilt the delivery experience around how drivers actually work—grouped stops, a clearer itinerary hierarchy, and a sliding drawer that adapts to each driver. Grounded in 20 ridealongs and station visits across three countries.

DTN: the farm dashboard, off the satellite
A mobile-responsive rebuild of The Progressive Farmer for producers migrating off decades-old satellite hardware. 80+ interviews and onsite contextual inquiry, a style guide tuned for legibility in high glare, and offline-first mapping that kept heavy data layers smooth in network dead zones.

#NotANumber: out of the data desert
A pro-bono portal that let Love146 facilitators turn paper classroom assessments into grant-ready impact data. I led stakeholder discovery and service-mapping workshops, then built the front end—including the OCR verification UI that kept sensitive student data accurate.
